Rutgers Stichting - Line animation

Rutgers Stichting x Vice Netherlands line animation about reproductive health. It illustrates the sensitive story of Beverly and encourages the main message “Raise your voice”.

We aimed to tell the story in a subtle yet powerful way. For that we used non-direct representation of sensitive subjects to leave room for interpretation.
We picked a one-line animation style to illustrated the fragility of young women, coming face to face with the lack of reproductive health education. That gave the animation a lively but brittle look.

This is one out of three animations about reproductive health, you can find out more here: https://rutgers.international/programmes/right-here-right-now/
